Lying on the Ground …<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

“To all my foes I am a thing of scorn, and especially to my neighbors, a horror to my friends. <\/i>When they see me in public, they quickly shy away.\u201c <\/i>(Psalm 31:12)<\/p>\n

Jesus lies motionless on the ground. Defenseless, exhausted, at the end of his human strength. He lies there like an abandoned, tormented person, exploited and used up. It is difficult to bear this image – and yet we expect it of many of our fellow men.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let us take a moment and think about how many people are working for us under poor living conditions until they are exhausted so that we can live here as we live. How many tears, how much blood and sweat hang on the goods of our personal daily needs – without us having to think about it too much.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus does not repel this situation, nor does he want to, because it shows in its full hardness the inhumanity and cruelty of human existence. It shows how we encounter God’s creation. It is a situation without any prospect of help, a situation of complete abandonment, a situation without a spark of love – perhaps hell cannot be worse.<\/span><\/p>\n

People have pushed themselves out of paradise and are preparing the hell on earth, it is said – this ninth station of the Way of the Cross confronts us with the total forlornness and helplessness.<\/span><\/p>\n

Hold absolute silence for a moment.<\/span> – O Lord, wherein my life until today have <\/i>I<\/i> prepared a kind of hell for others, consciously or unconsciously? – Where have I lacked humility, respect, and consideration? – Where have I forgotten to meet others with love, or forward your love <\/i>on to them<\/i>? <\/i><\/p>\n

“Zum Spott geworden bin ich all meinen Feinden, ein Hohn den Nachbarn, ein Schrecken den Freunden; wer mich auf der Stra\u00dfe sieht, der flieht vor mir. (Psalm 31,12)<\/p>\n

Jesus liegt regungslos am Boden. Wehrlos, ersch\u00f6pft, am Ende seiner menschlichen Kr\u00e4fte. Er liegt da, wie ein verlassener, gequ\u00e4lter Mensch, ausgebeutet und verbraucht, – unbrauchbar geworden. Es ist schwer, dieses Bild auszuhalten \u2013 und dennoch muten wir es vielen unserer Mitmenschen zu.<\/span><\/p>\n

Nehmen wir uns einen Moment und denken dar\u00fcber nach, wie viele Menschen unter schlechten Lebensbedingungen f\u00fcr uns bis zur Ersch\u00f6pfung arbeiten, damit wir hier so leben k\u00f6nnen, wie wir leben. Wie viele Tr\u00e4nen, wie viel Blut und Schwei\u00df h\u00e4ngen an den G\u00fctern unseres pers\u00f6nlichen t\u00e4glichen Bedarfs \u2013 ohne dass wir uns dar\u00fcber viele Gedanken machen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jesus wehrt diese Situation nicht ab, will es auch nicht, denn sie zeigt in ihrer vollen H\u00e4rte die Unmenschlichkeit und Grausamkeit menschlichen Seins. Sie zeigt, wie wir Gottes Sch\u00f6pfung begegnen. Es ist eine Situation ohne Aussicht auf irgendeine Hilfe, eine Situation v\u00f6lliger Verlassenheit, eine Situation ohne einen Funken Liebe \u2013 vielleicht kann die H\u00f6lle nicht schlimmer sein.<\/span><\/p>\n

Die Menschen habe sich selbst aus dem Paradies gesto\u00dfen und bereiten sich die H\u00f6lle auf Erden hei\u00dft es \u2013 diese neunte Station des Kreuzweges konfrontiert uns mit der totalen Aussichts- und Hilflosigkeit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Halte einen Moment absolute Stille.<\/span> – Oh Herr, wo habe ich in meinem <\/i>bisherigen <\/i>Leben, bewusst oder unbewusst, eine Art H\u00f6lle f\u00fcr andere bereitet? – Wo hat es mir an Demut, Respekt und R\u00fccksicht gefehlt? – Wo habe ich vergessen, anderen mit Liebe zu begegnen oder deine Liebe weiterzugeben?<\/i><\/p>\n

9. Station: Jezus valt voor de derde keer onder het kruis<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Op de grond liggen …<\/b><\/span><\/h4>\n

‘Voor al mijn vijanden ben ik een minachting, en vooral voor mijn buren, een gruwel voor mijn vrienden. <\/i>Als ze me in het openbaar zien, schrikken ze snel weg. \u201d(Psalm 31:12)<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

Jezus ligt roerloos op de grond. Weerloos, uitgeput, aan het einde van zijn menselijke kracht. Hij ligt daar als een verlaten, gekwelde persoon, uitgebuit en opgebruikt, – onbruikbaar. Dit beeld is moeilijk te dragen – en toch verwachten we het van veel van onze medemensen.
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Laten we even nadenken over het feit hoeveel mensen voor ons werken onder slechte levensomstandigheden totdat ze uitgeput zijn, zodat wij hier kunnen leven op de manier waarop we leven. Hoeveel tranen, hoeveel bloed en zweet hangen er aan de goederen van onze persoonlijke dagelijkse behoeften – zonder dat we er veel over hoeven na te denken.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jezus weert deze situatie niet af en wil dat ook niet, omdat het in zijn volle hardheid de onmenselijkheid en wreedheid van het menselijk bestaan \u200b\u200blaat zien. Het laat zien hoe we Gods schepping tegenkomen. Het is een situatie zonder uitzicht op hulp, een situatie van volledige verlatenheid, een situatie zonder een sprankje liefde – misschien kan de hel niet erger zijn.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mensen hebben zichzelf uit het paradijs verdreven en bereiden de hel op aarde voor, zo wordt gezegd – deze negende statie van de kruisweg confronteert ons met de totale verlatenheid en hulpeloosheid.<\/span><\/p>\n

Houd even absolute stilte. <\/span>– O Heer, waar heb ik tot nu toe in mijn leven een soort hel voor anderen voorbereid, bewust of onbewust? <\/span><\/i><\/span>Waar miste ik nederigheid, respect en aandacht? <\/i><\/span>Waar ben ik vergeten om anderen met liefde te ontmoeten of Uw liefde door te geven?<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n

“Je suis un d\u00e9dain pour tous mes ennemis, et surtout mes voisins, une abomination pour mes amis. <\/i><\/span><\/span>Quand ils me voient en public, ils s’\u00e9loignent rapidement. (Psaume 31:12)<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

J\u00e9sus g\u00eet immobile sur le sol. Sans d\u00e9fense, \u00e9puis\u00e9, au bout de sa force humaine. Il g\u00eet l\u00e0 comme une personne abandonn\u00e9e, tourment\u00e9e, exploit\u00e9e et \u00e9puis\u00e9e – inutile. Cette image est difficile \u00e0 supporter – pourtant nous l’attendons de beaucoup de nos semblables.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

R\u00e9fl\u00e9chissons un instant au nombre de personnes qui travaillent pour nous dans de mauvaises conditions de vie jusqu’\u00e0 ce qu’elles soient \u00e9puis\u00e9es afin que nous puissions vivre ici comme nous vivons. Combien de larmes, combien de sang et de sueur s’accrochent aux biens de nos besoins quotidiens personnels – sans trop y penser.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

J\u00e9sus ne veut pas cette situation et ne la veut pas conjurer, car elle montre dans toute sa duret\u00e9 l’inhumanit\u00e9 et la cruaut\u00e9 de l’existence humaine. Il montre comment nous rencontrons la cr\u00e9ation de Dieu. C’est une situation sans perspective d’aide, une situation de d\u00e9solation compl\u00e8te, une situation sans \u00e9tincelle d’amour – peut-\u00eatre que l’enfer ne pourrait pas \u00eatre pire.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Les gens se sont chass\u00e9s du paradis et pr\u00e9parent l’enfer sur terre, dit-on – cette neuvi\u00e8me station du Chemin de Croix nous confronte \u00e0 une d\u00e9solation totale et \u00e0 l’impuissance.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Gardez un silence absolu un instant. <\/span><\/span>– O Seigneur, o\u00f9 ai-je dans ma vie pr\u00e9par\u00e9 jusqu’ici une sorte d’enfer pour les autres, consciemment ou inconsciemment? <\/span><\/i><\/span><\/span><\/span>O\u00f9 ai-je manqu\u00e9 d’humilit\u00e9, de respect et d’attention? <\/i><\/span>O\u00f9 ai-je oubli\u00e9 de rencontrer les autres avec amour ou de transmettre ton amour?<\/i><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
