Change of the current statutes according to the GA decision

Post by Christian »

As you remember we had one ICDS proposal on the agenda called: "President, Vice President and GC Members Election Process". We agreed to this proposal and according to this decision we have to adjust our current statutes. Here is the suggested text with the changes to see. Tell me asap what you think about it, and feel free to propose any changes. The text changes based on the last new version we have sent to the dicastery in Dec. 2017. This parts became not rejected by them.

7.3.4.1 and 7.3.4.2 say the same thing. I suggest deleting 7.3.4.1 and moving 7.3.4.2 up to 7.3.4.1 and moving up 7.3.4.3 and 7.3.4.4 accordingly. Also I suggest the new 7.3.4.1 read: The GC-team determines after their election at the General Assembly who will take over the office (vice part) of the ICDS general secretary and the ICDS general treasurer. This can be one person on (vice of) the team but also (insert) may be a Lay Salvatorian who has appropriate requirements and special skills for one of these offices.

These changes look good to me. In the next paragraph, 7.3.5, the numbering is not correct, for example the first sub paragraph is 7.3.3.1 and it should be 7.3.5.1 I think. Also there are blanks next to some of the sub paragraphs.

After a little battle with the outline numbers in the software here is the result. I hope, it's all right now.

Changes about election ok for me.
This version needs to review the numbering inside changed chapters.

Could you have a look at the units forum, please? There you will find the newest version

I found a point we could pool. Have a look at 7.3.4., please.

In my opinion, we could put these three points to 7.3.1.1.3. Tasks of the GC

Could you check this, please?

Please check on ICDS Statutes 2018 publication, this little identifiying topic

"8.3 The GC as well as the Generalates of SorDS and SocDS...."

Are this the correct international way both Generalates call and identify themselves?

Isn't it better to say SDS and CongDS? (as we are ICDS instead of IntComDS)?

Dicastery solved the problem Art. 8.3.: replace "Fathers/Brothers and Sisters" with "Congregation and Society".

And on Statutes version nov 17 we sent to Dicastery the topic has been corrected.
